Are files uploaded to a server?
No. The input file bytes are processed inside your browser. Some tools download their JavaScript libraries from public CDNs, but the files themselves are not uploaded.
ZIP multiple files or extract an archive in your browser.
Enable JavaScript to use the tool.
Select your own files to bundle into one ZIP, or open an existing ZIP and download its contents individually. The tool processes archives on your own device.
Encrypted ZIPs are not supported in the initial version. Be careful with archives received from unknown senders.

Yes. Open a ZIP archive in your browser and download its contents individually, or select multiple files to create a new ZIP.
ZIP archives make groups of files easier to move and can reduce size when the contents compress well. Already-compressed media such as JPEG, MP4 and many PDFs may shrink very little. The archive also preserves filenames, so review those names if they contain personal or internal project information.
Extract archives only when you trust their source. A ZIP can contain executable files, scripts or misleading filenames, and decompression can expand data substantially. Browser extraction avoids sending the archive to NowConverter, but it does not make the archive itself safe.
Example task: A client expects a ZIP containing a PDF, a PNG preview and a text readme.
ZIP packaging combines files; media already compressed with JPEG or MP4 may show little size reduction.
This version does not handle encrypted ZIP files. Do not execute unknown files extracted from untrusted archives.
