Useful context for everyday file decisions
Conversion is not always neutral. Choosing JPEG instead of PNG can remove transparency, a scanned PDF may have no searchable text, a visual white box may fail to securely redact information, and a matching checksum does not prove that a file is safe. These guides focus on the decisions that are easy to miss when a tool only shows an input and an export button.
Each article links back to relevant NowConverter tools, but you can use the information independently of the site. For implementation details about local processing and third-party libraries, see How NowConverter works.
