Are files uploaded to a server?
No. Your input is handled locally in the browser. Some tools load JavaScript libraries from public CDNs, but NowConverter has no file-upload endpoint.
Convert common table data formats with no upload.
Enable JavaScript to use the tool.
Paste data or choose a text file, select the conversion direction and download the result. The CSV parser handles quoted fields, commas and line breaks.
CSV values are treated as strings. CSV export prefixes spreadsheet-formula-like cells to reduce formula injection risks.

No. The current version is free, has no registration and runs on devices with a compatible modern browser.
Yes. The CSV converter handles quoted fields, commas and line breaks. Check that the data structure is suitable for conversion in the selected direction.
CSV is naturally tabular: rows and columns with a chosen delimiter. JSON can represent nested objects, arrays and values that do not fit neatly into a flat table. A conversion is straightforward when the JSON is an array of similarly shaped records, but nested data may need flattening or a custom schema before a CSV can represent it cleanly.
Text that looks like a number, date or boolean may also be interpreted differently by other software after export. Check leading zeros, large identifiers, commas, quotes and line breaks before using the converted file in a database, spreadsheet or automated workflow.
Example task: Your CSV has the header name, score and two records: Ada,9 and Bo,7.
A basic CSV-to-JSON conversion produces records from column headers, but representation of types and empty cells needs confirmation.
CSV quoting, embedded commas, blank columns and line endings can change parsing. For financial or critical data, verify totals independently.
