Are files uploaded to a server?
No. The input file bytes are processed inside your browser. Some tools download their JavaScript libraries from public CDNs, but the files themselves are not uploaded.

Yes. Enter page numbers and ranges such as 1-3, 5. The selected pages are saved as individual PDFs inside a ZIP download.
Extracting only the pages a recipient needs can make a document easier to review and can reduce accidental oversharing. A long statement, report or scan may contain pages that belong to a different task. Splitting lets you create focused copies without editing the source document.
Page extraction does not automatically remove document-level metadata or guarantee that every embedded feature is preserved. After downloading the ZIP of extracted pages, open the relevant PDFs and confirm that the correct pages were selected. For confidential material, also consider whether metadata or visible information elsewhere on the page needs separate treatment.
Example task: A 12-page report has a three-page appendix that a recipient needs separately.
Splitting produces new page ranges while leaving the source PDF unchanged.
Page numbers printed on paper may differ from their order in the PDF. A split file may still carry document metadata or sensitive details.
