Are files uploaded to a server?
No. Your input is handled locally in the browser. Some tools load JavaScript libraries from public CDNs, but NowConverter has no file-upload endpoint.
Convert colours and create a downloadable CSS gradient.
Enable JavaScript to use the tool.
Enter a HEX value or use the colour picker to display matching RGB and HSL values. Choose a second colour and angle for a CSS gradient or PNG graphic.
HEX, RGB and HSL are different descriptions of colour. Exported PNGs depend on your display’s colour handling.

Yes. Pick two colours and an angle to create a CSS linear gradient, copy the CSS or export the gradient as a PNG.
HEX and RGB represent red, green and blue channel values directly, while HSL describes a colour by hue, saturation and lightness. Converting between them is useful when moving between design tools, CSS and documentation, but the notation does not by itself guarantee identical appearance on every display.
Actual colour appearance also depends on the display, browser, colour profile and surrounding colours. When accessibility matters, evaluate text/background contrast rather than relying only on whether two colours look distinct on your own screen.
Example task: A design mockup uses #2563EB and #0F172A, and you need consistent RGB values plus a gradient.
For #2563EB the RGB channels are 37, 99 and 235. A gradient uses the chosen endpoints and angle.
The same numeric color may appear different on displays with different profiles. Matching a corporate print color requires more than HEX values.
